NBC News

NBC News You never know when God will give you an opportunity to say something that will encourage others. Or better yet, to say something that points people to Him. Yesterday Dave had one of those opportunities. When we went to Dave’s physical therapy session at Project Walk in Claremont, the local NBC news station was there doing a story on what Project Walk does to help people with spinal cord damage. We were a little surprised when they asked Dave to be interviewed. He said some great things about how Project Walk is helping him and about the huge difference that having God in his life has made in this battle with leukemia. Who knows what the editors will include in the piece. If you’d like to see it, they said it is scheduled to air during the 11 o'clock news on Sunday night. “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” 1 Peter 3:15 Those opportunities are around us every day. Our responsibility is to see them and step through the open doors. Dave’s most recent chemo treatment was three weeks ago. He is slowly gaining back some strength. Tomorrow’s doctor’s appointment will tell us whether or not he can be finished with the treatments. We are trusting God and praying that He continues to keep the leukemia away. Thank you all for your prayers!! We still need them!! Carol

You never know when God will give you an opportunity to say something that will encourage others. Or better yet, to say something that points people to Him.
